Wayfarer Work is a travel-led jobs marketplace for roles where accommodation is provided, arranged or clearly available - so people can live somewhere new while they work.
Why it exists
The founder spent years hiring in seasonal hospitality - the kind of environment where teams live on site, seasons turn over fast, and a single role can attract a flood of interest. Every year that meant looking through thousands of applications, often across tools that were not built for live-in work: unclear lodging, vague eligibility, and inboxes that made good candidates hard to find.
Wayfarer Work is the site he wished employers and travellers already had. Clearer job pages. Accommodation treated as a first-class part of the offer. Eligibility signals that respect passports and work rights. Messaging that stays with the application. Less noise for people hiring - and a fairer path for people who want a season somewhere memorable.
What Wayfarer Work is for
Every listed job should help someone live somewhere new: resorts, islands, adventure centres, farms, remote hospitality and other seasonal roles with lodging built in. If accommodation is not part of the story, it does not belong here.
Free while we grow
Right now Wayfarer Work is completely free for job seekers and free for employers. We want the product used, tested and improved by the people who live this work every season - not locked behind a paywall while it is still finding its shape.
How do we keep the lights on? By offering an optional premium boost for employers who want a listing to land on the homepage and get more views. That is completely optional. Ordinary listings - the main way the site works - stay free. Promoting a job is a choice for extra visibility, not a fee to use Wayfarer Work.
One day there may be a small charge if it helps keep the site running properly. If that happens, the people who were here from the start of this journey will be looked after - kept free, or as close to free as we can make it. Early trust should count for something.
