Kitchen Porter

Roll up your sleeves and dive into the buzz of a busy kitchen as a Kitchen Porter on Tresco or at the 3 AA Rosette Hell Bay Hotel on Bryher. ## The role Your role is an integral part of our kitchen teams, with responsibilities for cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas, as well as washing dishes, pots, pans and other kitchenware to a high standard. You will help with food deliveries and correct storage, keep all areas clean and tidy, and follow health and safety rules at all times. You may occasionally assist with food preparation and cooking under supervision. Please note: this position may involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Training will be provided. ## Ideal candidate - Previous culinary or food service experience preferred but not required - Able to handle food safely and hygienically (training available) - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness - Good communication and teamwork - Able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment - Flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays ## Hours and contract Full time, 2 days off per week.
